2005 (So.): Played in eight contests, battling a nagging injury most of the season and missing the Furman contest ... Named the TIAA-CREF Southern Conference All-Academic Team as well as being named an Arthur Ashe, Jr. Sports Scholar ... Started to get on track with a four-tackle performance at Georgia Southern, followed with another four-tackle outing the subsequent game at Chattanooga ... Also had four stops in WCU's win over Wofford ... Despite battling an injury early, had a sack at Cincinnati.

2004 (Fr.): Had an impressive true freshman campaign as he led the team in tackles (48), played in all 11 games and started three contests (Elon, Appalachian State and The Citadel) ... Tied for fourth on the team with six tackles for losses on the season ... Played a key role in WCU ranking 12th nationally in total defense (301.91 yards/game), the school's highest ever national rank at season's end ... Was named Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Week twice with one of those weeks, picking up National Co-Defensive Player of the Week by Don Hansen's National Weekly Football Gazette ...
