Senior Class Reflections

2011 (Senior): Played in all 11 games making two starts ... Was again selected as a team captain, marking his second-straight season in that role ... Finished with 679 all-purpose yards including 502 yards on 24 kickoff returns, 119 yards receiving on 12 catches with a touchdown and rushing nine times for 58 yards ... Averaged 61.7 all-purpose yards per game ... Rushed for a season-high 43 yards on two carries against Furman ... Hauled in a season-best three passes in three different games ... Averaged 26.3 yards per return to earn the team's special teams player of the week against nationally-ranked Appalachian State ... Picked up his lone touchdown of the season on a 49-yard strike late in the second quarter in the season finale against Coastal Carolina ... Credited with seven total tackles including four solo stops.

2010 (Junior): Played in all 11 games, twice appearing in the starting lineup in the backfield ... Named a team captain prior to the season ... Rushed 74 times for 342 yards with one rushing score coming at Furman ... Also caught four passes for 47 yards ... Compiled a career-high 75 yards rushing in the road win over The Citadel to garner the team's offensive MVP award ... Led the team with 32 kick returns for 642 yards, averaging 20.1 yards per return on the season ... Twice earned the squad's special teams MVP, doing so after averaging 9.4 yards per kick return against Chattanooga and amassing a career-high 240 all-purpose yards at Wofford ... 2009 (Sophomore): Saw action in nine games, making his first career start against Furman ... Recorded rushes in all but four games ... Rushed 20 times for 86 yards, scoring his first career rushing touchdown against the Paladins ... Caught five passes for 61 yards out of the backfield including a career-long 34 yard pass-and-catch ... Also dropped back on kickoffs, returning nine kicks for 137 yards - an average of 15.2 yards per return - with a long return of 25 yards coming against Gardner-Webb ... Returned five kicks for a career single-game high 77 yards at Chattanooga ... Amassed a career-high 67 yards rushing against Furman, including a career-long rush of 20 yards ... In the 2010 WCU Spring Game, rushed six times for a game-high 34 yards including a 15-yard touchdown rush for the offense, adding one reception for three yards.

2008 (Freshman): Made the transistion from wide receiver to running back during the off-season, Spring 2009 ... Played in five games as a true freshman ... Caught two passes for 28 yards and his first collegiate touchdown, a 10-yard strike against The Citadel ... Rushed nine times for 44 yards, while also hauling in four passes for 26 yards out of the backfield in WCU's annual Spring Game.

Prior to Western: Was a two-time, All-Tri-8 Conference selection as a defensive back ... Was also a two-time, Academic All-conference selection ... Tallied 181 career tackles, including 88 solo stops with 14 career interceptions ... Also hauled in six passes for 114 yards and a touchdown, with 84 rushes for 1,425 yards and 16 scores in his senior season ... Garnered his team's MVP award in his final season ...
