Came to Western after two years at East Tennessee State as ETSU dropped its football program after the 2003 season.
2004 (Jr.): Lived up to his 2004 preseason All-Southern Conference honor by being a Second Team (coaches) All-Southern Conference selection, despite missing the last three games with an injury ... Even though he only played in eight games (starting seven), still ranked sixth on the team in tackles with 44 ... Of his 44 stops, four went for losses, while he registered two interceptions, three pass break-ups, a fumble forced and a fumble recovery ... Helped Western Carolina rank 15th nationally in second in the SoCon in pass defense, allowing just 163.64 passing yards per game ...Had a 63-yard interception return versus Gardner-Webb, which ranks as the ninth-longest in WCU history ... Glover, who had five tackles in the Alabama and Nicholls State games, put together an impressive three-game stretch prior to his injury ... Against second-ranked Furman, had nine tackles, while adding eight and seven versus third-ranked Georgia Southern and sixth-ranked Wofford, respectively ... Was on his way to another fine performance versus Chattanooga, before leaving the game early with his season-ending injury.
Prior to Western: Ranked 12th on the East Tennessee State football team in tackles in 2003 with 30, adding two interceptions, two fumble recoveries and a forced fumble ... Had five solo tackles versus SoCon Champion Wofford in 2003, a season-high six stops versus Tennessee-Martin and four tackles versus Western Carolina ... Returned an interception 36 yards versus Concord and one 33 yards versus Chattanooga, both of which set up ETSU touchdowns ... In 2003, as a redshirt freshman, played in 11 games and earned a starting assignment versus Elon, a game in which he recorded his first career interception ... Tallied a season-high four tackles twice (N.C. State and VMI) and finished the season with 19 tackles, an interception and two pass breakups.
High School: At Effingham County HS, Glover was an All-State honorable mention selection as a linebacker. He was additionally tabbed the best defensive back in the county following his junior and senior seasons.
