It was Fudge's second career 100-yard game, the other being a career-high 134 yards in Western's upset over Appalachian State last season ... His running helped WCU dominate time of possession 47:36 to 27:24 and he accounted for all but 56 of Western's rushing yards ... On Western's first drive, Fudge had a 26-yard run, followed immediately by an eight-yard touchdown run ... During the Cats' second drive, he had a 13-yard reception and, with WCU facing fourth-and-two, he took the snap on a fake punt, rushed 38 yards and made it to the Furman nine, setting up a WCU score by Lamont Reid two plays later ... On Western's first drive of the second half, Fudge had a 44-yard run to the Furman two, setting up a one-yard John Bush TD ... Also played a key role in Western's late-season resurgence, gaining 95, 99 and 97 yards on consecutive weeks versus Chattanooga, Elon and Wofford to set up the Cats' first-place showdown with Appalachian State in the season finale ... Part of his 99-yard effort versus Elon was a career-long, 66-yard touchdown ... Also, during the Elon game, he eclipsed the 1,000-yard plateau for his career ... He capped the season by gaining 81 yards on 16 carries versus the Mountaineers ... Ranked seventh in the SoCon in rushing (75.6 yards per game) and 63rd in the nation ... Averaged 5.5 yards per carry for the season ... Ranked third on the team with 17 receptions, including a 15-yard TD at Georgia Southern.

2004 (So.): Played in all 11 games, starting four of the final six games of the season (Georgia Southern, Elon, Appalachian State and The Citadel) ... Was a game captain for the Alabama contest ... Had 81 carries on the season for 473 yards, averaging a team-best 5.8 yards per attempt ... Scored three touchdowns ... Played a key role in WCU's win over Appalachian State, amassing 134 rushing yards on just nine carries ... With WCU backed up on it sown two and trailing to start the fourth, broke a 51-yard run to setup WCU's 98-yard scoring drive, giving the Cats a 16-13 lead ... Started the season by scoring twice (five yards and one yard) in WCU's win over West Virginia State ... With WCU clinging to a 14-0 lead and just getting the ball on a fumble, Fudge put the game out of reach with a five-yard TD run at Elon.

2003 (Fr.): A late addition to the Catamount squad, joining the team when school started in late August ... Was originally set to take the semester off and enroll in school in January 2004, but decided to begin his college in the fall ... Played in 10 games, rushing 23 times for 120 yards ... Saw extensive action in the WCU special teams, logging five tackles and getting a 17-yard kick return in his only attempt of the season at Appalachian State ... Versus Johnson C. Smith, playing running back in the second half alone, he still rushed 10 times for 67 yards, including a long of 32 yards ... Had six rushes for 17 yards at Chattanooga ... Also carried the ball six times, gaining 34 yards, versus Elon.

Prior to Western: Named All-area by the Atlanta Journal-Constitution ...
