2008 (Freshman:) Saw action as the team's primary punter in 11 of the 12 games as WCU did not attempt a punt at Presbyterian ... Attempted 68 punts, tied for the fourth-most by a WCU punter since 1969 and the most since Kenny Pauley had 82 punts in 19990 ... Averaged 38.9 yards per punt including a career-long 55-yard boot against arch rival Appalachian State ... Punted seven times in the home win over Chattanooga for 285 yards, an average of 40.7 yards per punt including a long of 51 with five of his seven kicks downed inside the Mocs 20 yard line to garner Southern Conference Special Teams Player of the Week plaudits ... Attempted a career-high -- and school-record -- 13 punts against ASU in the season finale ... Had 17 of his punts downed inside the 20-yard line, with five punts over 50 yards ... Named to the inaugural Southern Conference All-Freshman team as a specialist.

Prior to Western: Helped Harrison HS to the Georgia State Playoffs in three of his four seasons ...
