If the U.S. Olympic basketball team has one Achilles’ heel, Rans Brempong believes it might be a lack of playing what he calls “European-style” ball.
Even so, the former Western Carolina shot-swatter feels pretty certain the Americans will reclaim the gold medal that eluded them four years ago.
A member of Canada’s national team, Brempong got an up-close look at Team USA recently when the Americans handed Canada a 120-65 defeat in an exhibition on July 25 in Las Vegas.
