Cullowhee, N.C. - Two Western Carolina men's basketball signees were recently named to their respective division All-Ohio honorary basketball squads. Michael Porrini (Massillon HS) was named to the Division I All-Ohio basketball third team while Camden Miller (Wheelersburg HS) was tabbed first team Division III All-Ohio.

Porrini led his high school to a 15-5 mark during the regular season before falling to Warren Harding in the sectional finals. The 6-foot-2 guard led Massillon in scoring with 19.9 points and just under five assists per game.

Likewise, Miller, a 6-7 forward, posted a 19.0 point per game average this season in helping lead Wheelersburg to a regional championship and to the Ohio state semifinals where he will play in Columbus, Ohio, this Thursday, March 22. Behind Miller, Wheelersburg (24-2) is ranked sixth in the state.

Western Carolina returns nine players next season, including five seniors and four sophomores, two of which were members of the Southern Conference All-Freshman team. The underclassman group includes first team All-SoCon selection, Nick Aldridge, who like classmate Brigham Waginger, is also from Ohio.
