Catamount Coaches' Luncheon Set for Tuesday at O'Malley's

Cullowhee, N.C. - The Western Carolina Catamount Coaches' Luncheon returns on Tuesday, Feb. 8 beginning at 11:45 am at O'Malley's Bar & Grill in Sylva. Both head basketball coaches Karen Middleton and Larry Hunter will be on hand to discuss their respective seasons, while also looking ahead to upcoming games on the schedule.

O'Malley's Bar & Grill in Sylva will host the lunch-time social that will include video highlights, chalk talk and question/answer session with both coaches. Fans can order lunch off of O'Malley's menu while listening to the both head coaches with question/answer sessions.

The event is scheduled to begin at 11:45 am with both coaches on-hand for a meet-and-greet, followed by the official program beginning just after Noon and lasting until 1:00 pm.

Western Carolina's men's squad is amidst a three-game home stand with two games against Southern Conference North Division rivals this week. The Catamounts (11-13, 7-5 SoCon) host division-leading Chattanooga on Thursday night for "Beach Night" in the Ramsey Center. All fans are encouraged to wear their best beach attire to the game for a fun-filled evening including some of the best in Carolina beach music tunes.

The men's home stand will close on Saturday, Feb. 12 against Samford at 2:00 pm.

After a heart-breaking last-second, 57-53, loss at UNC Greensboro on Monday, the Catamount women return to the Ramsey Center on Wednesday, Feb. 9 in a make-up game against the Wofford Terriers. Snow forced the postponement of the game originally scheduled for Jan. 10. Tip-off is set for 7:00 pm on Wednesday.
