CULLOWHEE, N.C. (AP) - Freshman Kevin Martin led Western Carolina in scoring for the fourth straight game with 21 points as the Catamounts beat Emmanuel 94-61 Wednesday night.

Willie Freeman added 14 points and nine rebounds for Western Carolina (3-1).

Antonio Linder of NAIA member Emmanuel (2-6) had 15 points and 10 rebounds.

The Catamounts led 40-28 at the half after shooting 51 percent from the field to just 33 percent for Emmanuel. They cranked up their offense in the second half, making 71 percent of their shots while again holding Emmanuel to 33 percent.

Cory Largent came off the bench to score 13, and reserve Rans Brempong added 12 points, six rebounds and five blocked shots for Western Carolina, which had 11 blocked shots in the game.

Charlie Williams scored 12 points and handed out seven assists for Emmanuel.
