Davidson, N.C. - Western Carolina guard Kevin Martin scored 36 points and grabbed a team-high seven rebounds, but Davidson dominated the boards and got 17 second-half points from Brendan Winters as the Wildcats handed the Catamounts a 76-62 loss Tuesday night at Belk Arena.

Martin, who made 12 of WCU's 20 field goals and took 27 of WCU's 54 shots, moved up two spots ninth on the WCU all-time scoring list, now with 1,521 points. Corey Muirhead added 10 for the Cats.
