LEXINGTON, Va. (AP) - Eric Mann scored 12 points and pulled down 11 rebounds
Saturday as VMI defeated Western Carolina 70-69.
The score was tied 68-68 with 1:36 left in the game when Case Rodgers sank a
free throw, bringing the Catamounts (2-12, 0-2 Southern Conference) ahead by
one. Mann answered with a jumper seconds later to win the game.
Jeremy Harper had 10 points for the Keydets (4-8, 1-1). Daron Pressley added
12.
Corey Largent led the pack with 24 points for the Catamounts, and Rodgers
contributed 14. Willie Freeman added 10 points and 12 rebounds.
