2010-11 (Senior): Started all 33 games, the only player to do so on the year ... Received the team's "Captain's Award" and was the top rebounder and top defender ... Recorded the best season of his collegiate career, averaging 10.2 points and a team-leading 5.7 rebounds per game ... Named Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year - the second-straight season a Catamount has garnered that honor ... Helped anchor the Catamount defense in 2010-11, averaging 1.3 blocked shots per game and 1.5 steals per contest, good for seventh place in the SoCon ... He also pulled down 109 defensive rebounds, averaging 5.7 total boards per game ... With 42 blocked shots on the year, Gordon ranked seventh in the school's single-season record books ... Tallied all four of his career double-double performance as a senior, posting the first with a career-high tying 23 points and 10 rebounds in a home win over Warren Wilson (11/22) ... 2009-10 (Junior): Played in all 34 games making 33 appearances in the starting lineup, missing the start on the road at Elon in early February ... Was given the "Mr. Hustle Spirit Award" by the staff for his hard-work on the court ... Finished with 290 points on the year, an average of 8.5 points per game to rank fifth on the team ... Was tied for the team-lead in rebounding, averaging 4.6 boards per contest ... Shot 56.2-percent from the field to rank fifth in the Southern Conference in overall field goal percentage ... Ranked ninth in the conference in blocked shots, swatting 37 for an average 1.1 per game, while his 1.9 offensive rebounds per game average ranked 10th in the SoCon ... Was whistled for 128 fouls on the season, fouling out a team-high 12 times ... Averaged 3.76 fouls per game ... Blocked a career-high five shots in the home win over Campbell - the most blocked shots in a game for a Catamount since 2004-05 ... 2008-09 (Sophomore): Played in 30 of the 31 games on the season, missing one due to an ankle injury suffered in the second half against San Diego State at the Great Alaska Shootout ... Made 20 starts on the year including the final 14-straight games of the season ... Had a strong second half of the season, averaging 10.7 points per game over the final 10 including a career-high 23 in a home win over Samford and 22 in a victory over the College of Charleston ... Ranked fifth on the team with a career-best 6.7 points per game average ... Blocked 23 shots for a 0.8 blocks per game average which ranked 11th in the Southern Conference ... Scored four-straight points against the defending National Defensive Player of the Year, UConn's Hasheem Thabeet, as part of an early second-half rally that allowed the Catamounts to close to within 10 points of No. 2 UConn ... Posted his first double-digit scoring outing of the season with 10 against Toccoa Falls ... Of his season-high seven rebounds against Toccoa Falls, he posted a career-high five on the offensive end ... Battling foul trouble, came off the bench to score eight points and pull down a team-best seven rebounds in just six minutes of court time at Kent State ... Scored seven points off the bench, including a 2-for-2 showing from the floor and three free throws, against Gardner-Webb ... Scored 15 of his then career-high 22 points in the second half to lead Western past CofC ... Tied his career-high with seven rebounds, including five on the offensive end ... 2007-08 (Freshman): Appeared in 29 games, making 11-consecutive starts to end the season ... Averaged 3.7 points and 2.8 rebounds per game, while his 0.62 blocked shots per game average ranked 15th in the Southern Conference ... Scored his first collegiate points on his second career field goal attempt, a lay-up at 16:46 of the second half in the season opener against Bowling Green in tournament action in Cincinnati ... Drew the challenge of guarding the Bulldogs' 7-foot, 7-inch center Kenny George for most of the game against UNC Asheville ... Scored five points in his SoCon debut at Elon ... Prior to Western: Was a successful two-sport athlete in high school playing both on the hardwood and as a tight end in football ... Also received NCAA Division I scholarship offers in football ... Averaged 12.7 points, 10.6 rebounds and 4.1 blocked shots per game last season for Lakeside HS, which finished the year 15-11 and advanced to the Georgia state 4-A regional quarterfinals. ...
