Cullowhee, N.C. - The Western Carolina Catamount baseball team will hold the second of two fall clinic / scrimmages this Saturday, Oct. 18 at Franklin HS. WCU held its first fall event last weekend in Waynesville at Tuscola HS.

This Saturday's outing will include general instruction for youth, followed by a homerun derby among the Catamount sluggers. Festivities will culminate with an intra-squad scrimmage between the purple and gold squads.

WCU Baseball will culminate its fall season on Hall of Fame Weekend, scheduled for Oct. 31 through Nov. 2. The program will host a special Alumni Golf Outing on Friday, Oct. 31 at the Maggie Valley Club, with former Catamount pitching great, Jason Beverlin, to be inducted in the Hall of Fame on Nov. 1.
