Update on Former Catamounts in the Major Leagues:
Jared Burton - Minnesota Twins, American League Central:
Made 28 relief appearances to date - his most since 2009 ... Tossed 26.2 innings with 28 strikeouts against three walks ... Opponents are hitting just .212 against the right-hander on the season ... Has three holds as a middle reliever ... Burton was selected by the Oakland Athletics in the eighth round of the 2002 MLB First-Year Player Draft ... He was later selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the Major League phase of the Rule 5 Draft in 2006 ... the Reds released Burton prior to 2012 spring training where he made the squad with the Minnesota Twins ... Made his Major League debut on April 4, 2007.
Greg Holland - Kansas City Royals, American League Central:
Has made 25 appearances out of the bullpen on the season ... Has posted a 2-2 record ... He has a 3.86 ERA on the season, striking out 32 through 23.1 innings worked ... For his MLB career, Holland is 7-4 with four saves and a career ERA of 3.18 ... Holland was selected by the Kansas City Royals in the 10th round of the 2007 MLB First-Year Player Draft ... Was released by the team that drafted him in March of 2012 before being signed by Washington in early-April and assigned to the Potomac Nationals ... Has only played in four games with Potomac, hitting .200 with an RBI ... Recently placed on the seven-day disabled list ... Greer was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 14th-round of the 2009 MLB First-Year Player Draft.
Is batting .276 through 33 games with Richmond ... Has 24 hits on the season including two extra base hits and 11 walks as a part of a .438 on-base percentage ... Has three stolen bases ... Liles was selected by the San Francisco Giants in the seventh round of the 2009 MLB First-Year Player Draft.

Has played in 13 of the HiToms 15 games, making 12 starts ... Has struggled with just a .140 average with the wooden bats, collecting seven hits in 50 plate appearances with three RBI and five walks ... Has one stolen base in one attempt, and was perfect in 24 fielding attempts.
Hunter Brister - Tennessee Big Train, Carolina Virginia Collegiate League:
His four appearances on the summer have all been starts, posting a 3-0 record through 24 innings of work ... Has 19 strikeouts against two walks with just one of the 23 hits allowed going for extra bases ... Has a 3.75 overall ERA on the summer.
