Cullowhee, N.C. - The WCU Department of Athletics will host its first Youth Sports Day this Saturday, April 23. Registration, which starts at 9:00 am, will take place on the WCU Intramural Fields, located across from the Ramsey Center and directly behind the old Camp Lab School.

Youth ages 6-12 may participate in a free clinic conducted by Catamount Coaches and Student Athletes in their choice of the following sports: football, basketball, baseball, soccer and cheerleading. Clinics will start at 10:00 am and finish by 11:30 am. Participants should wear sneakers and comfortable clothes for activity. Soccer and baseball participants may wear cleats and bring shin guards/baseball gloves.

In addition, all participants will be granted free admission to Western Carolina's baseball game with Georgia Southern, which starts at 4:00 pm. For more information, please contact Steven Herren at 828-227-2335.
