Due to the threat of impending inclement weather on Sunday, officials at Western Carolina have altered the remainder of the Catamount baseball team's weekend schedule moving Sunday's game into the night cap of a Saturday doubleheader.
WCU and The Citadel will play two on Saturday with first pitch of game one at 2:00 pm and the final game of the series in game two of the twin-bill set to start approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The Catamounts are slated to start redshirt senior LHP Morgan McKinney in game one with junior RHP Jordan Smith taking the hill in game two.

Catamounts Hold Off Bulldogs to Win Series Opener, 7-6
Western Carolina scored in bunches, tallying all seven runs between the second and fifth innings before holding off The Citadel's rally attempts down the stretch to pick-up the Southern Conference series-opening victory, 7-6, on a rainy Friday evening at Childress Field / Hennon Stadium.
The Catamounts took game one of their three-game Southern Conference series against the Bulldogs on Friday evening, 7-6, despite misting rain and steady showers.
