Western Carolina vs. Clemson Game Notes

Western Carolina (12-4) and the Tigers will meet for the 68th time all-time with the Catamounts trailing in the series, 13-54. Of the 13 series victories, though, nine have come in Cullowhee as the two squads have met at least once every year since 1978.

WCU enters the game having won eight of its last nine games and moved into the Mid-Major Top 25 this week at No. 24, according to CollegeBaseballDaily.com. Clemson (6-7) fell from the three major collegiate rankings this week after being swept at home by the sixth-ranked North Carolina Tar Heels.
