2017 (Sophomore): Returning from the elbow injury that ended his freshman season early, started 12 games on the season with a 4-3 record … Tossed 53.0 innings with a 6.75 ERA, surrendering 43 runs – 42 of which were earned … Struck out 29 batters against 27 walks, fanning a career-high tying six in a road win at Nebraska (March 11) … Allowed double-digit hits twice including 10 at UNCG (March 25) and 11 against Furman (April 14), winning the first vs. UNCG … Had his start against VMI (April 21) shortened due to rain, though he had struck out three through just two innings of one-hit, scoreless work … Missed his scheduled start against Wofford (May 6) due to a back injury suffered in the weight room … Returned to action with consecutive short starts at Ball State (May 14) and against Presbyterian (May 16); Summer League: Expected to pitch for the Fon du Lac Dock Spiders in the Northwoods League.

2016 (Freshman): Made nine appearances on the mound with seven starts in his rookie season ... Finished with a 5.19 ERA over 34.2 innings pitched, striking out 21 with 18 walks ... Recorded a strikeout in each of his nine seasonal appearances ... Missed the last month-plus of the season with an elbow injury to his pitching arm ... Made his collegiate debut against UL-Monroe (Feb. 28) with his first collegiate start coming against Niagara (March 2) in game two of a home nonconference double-header ... Credited with his first career win in the 10-2 victory over the Purple Eagles ... Named Southern Conference Pitcher of the Week on March 21 after securing a victory and a save -- tossed two-thirds of an inning in a home win over Gardner-Webb (March 16) and tallied a victory at Kansas State (March 20), tossing a career-long seven innings with a career-high six strikeouts ... Named to the 2015-16 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.; Summer League: Expected to pitch for the Gastonia Grizzlies of the Coastal Plains League.

Prior to Western Carolina: Was a three-time All-Mecka 4-A conference selection ... Was a second team All-Observer selection as an outfielder ... Twice played in the Powerade State Games ... Compiled a 10-4 record as a prep with one save, finishing with a 1.09 ERA over 102 innings ... Struck out 125 batters over his final two seasons while issuing just 26 walks ... Was a career .330 batter with nine doubles, a triple, and 26 RBI ... Added 14 stolen bases ... Played for coach Chet Greeson at Hopewell HS.
