WCU plays three nonconference games this week

2005: - Was hit by a pitch 17 times (0.3 per game) to rank 34th in the NCAA ... His total additionally ranked second on the WCU single-season list for HBP, one off the school record of 18 set by Chris Davis in 2004 ... - Was 0-for-5 at Georgia, but played spectacular defense getting five assists and five put outs ... Committed an error versus Gardner-Webb, his first in 19 games (79 chances) ... Returned to stellar defense versus Wofford, committing no errors in 22 chances ... Had 17 assists in the three game series versus the Terriers, including games with six, four and seven assists ... Also had a seven-assist game in the second Furman contest and a six-assist game versus UNC Asheville (April 6) ... Over the final six games, had at least six assists in a game four times ... Had two six-game hit streaks ... At the conclusion of his last six-game hitting streak (Mar. 31 versus Brown), was batting as high as .351 ... Started his first six game hit streak, getting at least two hits in each contest, with a 3-for-5 outing with two RBI versus in the first Appalachian State contest ...
