2011 (Junior): Appeared in 15 games including three starts and 12 in relief ... Officially finished with an 0-4 record, saddled with losses in two of the three games he started ... Was the tough-luck relief loser in extra innings at Wake Forest (2/22) ... Tossed 29.2 innings on the season with 37 strikeouts against 25 walks ... Opponents posted a .288 batting average against him on the season with 12 of the 32 hits allowed going for extra bases ... Matched a career-high with 10 strikeouts in a strong start against the College of Charleston (5/27) in the season-ending game in the Southern Conference tournament ... Made his collegiate debut in relief against Bowling Green on Feb. 22, tossing one inning and allowing one run and one walk with a pair of strikeouts ... Earned his first career start in just his third collegiate appearance, limiting East Tennessee State to two runs on one hit and working around five walks with a career-high seven strikeouts ... Matched his career-best with seven K's against both UNC Asheville and Charlotte, both in starting roles ... His best outing of the season came against UNCA at McCormick Field where he lasted a career-best seven innings, holding the Bulldogs hitless through the first five and two thirds in the 11-0 shutout victory ... On the season, held opponents to a collective .230 batting average ... Had a memorable first career at-bat - blasting a two-run home run over the left-centerfield fence at Wofford ...
