2014 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in eight games, all in a reserve role as either a pinch hitter or pinch runner ... Finished with a .200 batting average (1-for-5), reaching base twice with a hit and a HBP ... Posted a .333 on-base percentage ... Scored his first career run in a pinch hit role in game one against Rider (March 15), drawing a HBP before scoring as a part of WCU's 14-run eighth inning ... Collected his first collegiate base hit on a pinch hit single to right field against East Tennessee State (March 19) ... Additionally worked with the Catamount pitching staff as a bullpen catcher; Summer League: Played for the New Market (Va.) Rebels of the Valley League ... Played in 29 games on the summer, collecting eight hits in 85 at bats (.094) with a double ... Recorded 11 RBI and scored five runs ... 2013 (Freshman): Took a medical redshirt, sitting out the season ... Worked with the Catamount pitchers as the bullpen catcher. Summer League: Saw action in 37 games during the summer playing first base and catching for the Kernersville Bulldogs of the Carolina-Virginia Collegiate League ... Finished with a .213 (19-of-89) batting average and a .348 slugging percentage ... Recorded nine doubles and a home run ... Drove in 20 runs while scoring 16 times ... Walked 16 times with three HBPs to counter 29 strikeouts ... Recorded three multi-hit games including twice collecting three hits in a game ... Tallied three doubles and four RBI on July 27 against the Central Virginia BlueSox.
