2008 (Sophomore): Appeared in 37 games making 17 starts including 16 in the outfield and once as the designated hitter ... Finished the season with a .244 batting average with nine extra base hits including five doubles, his first career triple and three home runs ... Made his first career start in the season-opener against Marshall as the DH ... Had five multiple-hit games and two multiple RBI outings with a career-long hitting streak of five games ... Recorded a career-best three RBI in a win over Hartford on March 16 with is first career triple ... Belted his first career home run at Clemson in the second inning to give WCU a lead it would not relinquish in a 6-2 victory at Doug Kingsmore Stadium ... Also made two appearances on the mound, combining for three innings pitched allowing three earned runs on two hits with a walk and three strikeouts ...
