2008 (Sophomore): Appeared in 37 games making 17 starts including 16 in the outfield and once as the designated hitter ... Finished the season with a .244 batting average with nine extra base hits including five doubles, his first career triple and three home runs ... Made his first career start in the season-opener against Marshall as the DH ... Had five multiple-hit games and two multiple RBI outings with a career-long hitting streak of five games ... Recorded a career-best three RBI in a win over Hartford on March 16 with is first career triple ... Belted his first career home run at Clemson in the second inning to give WCU a lead it would not relinquish in a 6-2 victory at Doug Kingsmore Stadium ... Also made two appearances on the mound, combining for three innings pitched allowing three earned runs on two hits with a walk and three strikeouts ... Walked two but escaped unscathed in his first career appearance at Georgia Southern on March 21.

2007 (Freshman): Played in 15 games as a freshman...had 10 at bats and scored a pair of runs...finished the year with a .833 fielding average at third base...Over the summer months, stayed close to home playing for the Gastonia Grizzlies of the Coastal Plains League...He started 40 of the 45 games played, with 37 hits in 145 at bats for a batting average of .253...Also had seven doubles on the season...In addtion, made two appearances on the mound, not allowing a hit in three innings of relief work.

Prior to Western: Batted .350 for the season with 13 doubles and three home runs with 28 RBI and eight stolen bases ... Went 3-for-4 with three RBI in game one of the 2006 NCHSAA 4-A Western Regional's as South Mecklenburg defeated West Forsyth ... A 2006 North Carolina State Games participant ... Was an All-Southwestern 4A selection as a junior, batting .380 with 15 doubles, two home runs, 32 RBI and seven stolen bases ... Led South Meck to a 28-6 record, conference and region championships and the state finals.
