WCU's players spread between 12 teams and seven leagues

2017 (Redshirt Junior): Elected to make this his senior year … Played in 14 games with four starts, each coming as a designated hitter … Remained a vital part of the dugout dynamic and instrumental in working with WCU’s pitchers in the bullpen … Batted .235 with four hits in 17 trips, scoring two runs … Posted a season-best 2-for-3 outing in a starting role against North Carolina A&T (Feb. 19) in tournament play in Myrtle Beach, collecting his only RBI of the year … Reached base twice against The Citadel (March 31), finishing 1-for-2 at the plate while also drawing a HBP.

2016 (Redshirt Sophomore): Missed the first part of the season due to recovery and rehabilitation from off-season surgery ... Made his 2016 season debut in mid-March as a pinch hitter ... Played in 20 games with two starts, both coming as the designated hitter ... Spent a bulk of the season working with the WCU pitching staff in the bullpen ... Finished the year 5-for-29 (.172) offensively with two doubles and five RBI ... Drew five walks and laid down one sacrifice bunt ... Had a RBI double to right center field against ETSU (March 24) ... Tallied a season-high two RBI on a fourth-inning RBI double to left center field in game one of a double-header at VMI (April 10) ... Delivered a pinch hit base knock to right center field in the bottom of the 11th inning to drive in the game-winning run in a home victory over Samford (April 17), clinching the series victory over the Bulldogs ... Named Spring Academic All-Southern Conference and to the 2015-16 Southern Conference Academic Honor Roll.; Summer Leagues: Returned to the Lake Norman Copperheads of the Southern Collegiate League ... Ranked among the team leaders with a .346 batting average, primarily playing as the designated hitter ... 2015 (Redshirt Freshman): Saw action in 34 of the team's 51 games making 17 starts ... Made nine starts in left field, two in right field and six as the designated hitter ... Finished the year batting .286 with 20 hits including five doubles and four home runs ... Belted his first career home run at East Tennessee State (April 24), hitting two in the weekend series against the Bucs ... Recorded 14 RBI including a career-best five in a three-hit game in the regular season finale against VMI (May 15) ... Had four multiple hit games and three multi-RBI outings ... Put together a pair of three-game hit streaks, his career long ... 2014 (Freshman): Took a redshirt ... Worked with the Catamount pitchers as the bullpen catcher. Summer League: Played for the Lake Norman Copperheads of the Southern Collegiate League ... Played in 31 games on the summer, collecting 23 hits in 97 at bats for a .237 average with 10 doubles and two home runs ... Finished second on the team with 15 RBI ... Had five, two-hit games on the summer ... Made three pitching appearances, tossing an inning each time out ... Named to the Southern Collegiate League All-Star game where he went 1-for-3 with a double and a run scored.

Prior to Western Carolina: Earned I-MECK 4A all-conference accolades as a senior, moving behind the plate on a regular basis ... As a junior, batted .358, mostly as a pitcher and designated hitter ... Scored a playoff victory on the mound over Mooresville and collected a two-run home run in the first game of the 4A West regional against East Forsyth High.
