2008 (Junior): Started nine of his 17 appearances, working 57.1 innings with a 2-2 overall record ...Pitched three-or-more innings in 10 of his outings ... Struck out 47 against 29 walks on the year ... Again opened by coming out of the bullpen for the Catamounts, making his first start against UNC Greensboro on March 30 and moving back into the Sunday starter role ... Struck out a season-high seven - including four-straight looking between the sixth and seventh innings - against UNC Asheville at McCormick Field ... Earned his first win of the season at Elon, preventing the three-game sweep by the eventual regular season and tournament champion Phoenix ...Tossed a career-high 6.1 innings in a win over Wofford on May 4.

2007 (Sophomore): Made 19 appearances for the Catamounts, including nine starts...Started the season coming out of the bullpen, but solidified the Sunday starter position by the middle of the season, starting eight of his last nine appearances...Posted an overall record of 5-3, tying for the third most wins on the team...Struck out 37 batters in 59.1 innings pitched on the season...Allowed only 14 walks and five home runs the entire year...Recorded a season and career-high eight strikeouts in the regular season finale against Georgia Southern...In his inaugural start on the season, pitched six shutout innings, striking out two and only allowing one hit for the game...Picked up his lone save in the second game of the season, when he came in and threw three innings of relief in a win against East Tennesse State.

2006 (Freshman): Tossed 26.2 innings in 18 appearances, making four starts with an 8.78 ERA ... Walked 19 and struck out 14 as a true freshman ... Longest outing was three innings in a starting role against Kennesaw State ... Struck out a career-best three against Princeton ... Is expected to be a contributor in 2007.

Prior to Western: Named All-Mountain Valley 2A Conference, as well as all-tournament at the conference championship ... Posted a 6-1 record in 45.1 innings with 70 strikeouts ... Hit 86-88 mph on the mound during the 2004 State Games ... Was also the starting pitcher for the West team at the State Games and got the win ... As a junior, tallied 74 strikeouts in 54 innings pitched ... Also ran cross country and played basketball at Forbush.
