Charleston Claims Series Over Western Carolina, 6-2

College of Charleston defeated the Catamounts, 6-2, on Sunday to win the series.

Career: Finished his WCU career as the Catamounts' all-time leader in career saves, capturing the career crown and matching the single-season record in 2013 ... Made 87 career appearances during his four-year career which ties him for fourth in the program record book, matching Brian Barnes (87, 2002-05) ... Finished with a career record of 15-9 and 24 career saves, breaking Ryan Foster's (2000-03) 10-year old record of 22 ... Hatcher's 24 saves ranked him ninth in the SoCon record books at the time of his graduation.

2013 (Senior): One of four team captains named prior to the season, made 32 relief appearances out of the bullpen, tied for the second-most on the team ... Tossed 41.1 innings out of the bullpen, finishing with a 6-3 record and a SoCon-leading 14 saves ... Recorded 55 strikeouts on the year, tallying at least one punch-out in all but three outings (26-of-29) and three-or-more K's nine times ... Worked 60 ground ball outs and 27 fly outs ... Took his first loss of the season in relief at Eastern Kentucky (March 1) after giving up two runs on two hits with a pair of strikeouts ... Scored his first win of the year with five strong scoreless, three-hit innings against High Point (March 29) ... It was his second victory over HPU in his first two seasons ... Struck out a season-high four in three and two-thirds innings relief against Georgia Southern (April 16).

2010 (Freshman): Pitched in 13 games including five starts on the season, tossing 22.1 innings with 12 strikeouts against 20 walks with an 8.06 ERA and 1-2 record ... Tossed two thirds of an inning in relief in the 14-11 road win over Georgia Southern, entering the game after an injury to Daniel Ottone ... Earned his first career start against UNC Greensboro, throwing three and a third and suffering his first collegiate defeat ... Garnered his first college victory at High Point, throwing five and a third against the potent Panther offense, limiting HPU to five runs - only one of which was earned - on five hits ... Started against OVC Champion, Tennessee Tech, striking out a career-high six in four innings but suffered the road loss ...
