Catamount Baseball Falls 6-3 at Tennessee in Fall Scrimmage

Career Notes: Enters his senior season having been hit by 40 pitches, a mark which ranks third on the WCU career HBP charts just four shy of all-time leader, Barrett Shaft (44, 2005-08) ... Holds the single-season record for HBP's in a single-season with 25 during the 2010 season.

2011 (Redshirt Junior): Played in 53 of the Catamounts 55 games on the season making a combined 51 starts, 49 of which came in right field ... Also made four appearances on the mound including earning his first collegiate start on the hill in mid-week nonconference action against Kennesaw State ... Finished the season with a .293 batting average, tied for fourth on the team among everyday starters ... 12 of his 56 hits went for extra bases including 11 doubles ... Tied with three others for the second-longest consecutive-game seasonal hitting streak by hitting safely in 11-straight games from March 23 through April 9 for his career-long streak ...
