2015 (Redshirt Sophomore): Made 10 appearances including three starts ... Tossed 17.2 innings with 16 strikeouts against 13 walks ... Finished with a 1-1 record and a 10.70 ERA ... Only six of the 28 hits he allowed on the season went for extra bases and he did not give up a home run ... Made his first career start on opening weekend in game two against Purdue (Feb.14) ... Struck out a career-high five in three innings of a start against Appalachian State (April 21) ... Tossed a career-long 6.1 innings in a start at Tennessee Tech (May 11) scoring his lone victory of the year; Summer League: Helped the Kernersville Bulldogs post a 43-13 record on the summer in the Carolina-Virginia Collegiate League … Pitched in 10 games with a 3-1 record and a 4.67 ERA over 17.1 innings … Allowed 14 runs, nine of which were earned … Struck out 14 while walking 11 batters … Collected one hit in four at bats over the summer.

2014 (Redshirt Freshman): Made four appearances, all in relief ... Tossed 3.2 innings including a career-long two innings on the road at Pac-12 foe, Washington State (Feb. 21), recording his first career strikeouts against the Cougars ... Made his collegiate debut at second-ranked Mississippi State (Feb. 15) ... Named to the 2013-14 Southern Conference Honor Roll; Summer League: Played for the Kernersville Bulldogs of the Carolina Virginia Collegiate League ... Appeared in 15 games with two starts during the summer, finishing with a 2-1 record ... Tossed 25.1 innings, scattering 18 hits and allowing just eight runs - seven of which were earned - for a 1.93 ERA ... Struck out 27 batters against 18 walks ... Limited opposing hitters to a .196 batting average against.

2013 (Freshman): Coming off an injury in high school, took a medical redshirt and sat out the season.

Prior to Western Carolina: Was a left-handed pitcher and first baseman at Starmount HS, helping lead the Rams to the Mountain Valley Conference tournament title and No. 2 2-A seeding ... As a junior, compiled a .284 batting average with three homeruns, five doubles and 13 runs while also tossing 56.2 innings and allowing just 16 earned runs ... Finished with 85 strikeouts with a 1.98 ERA and a 4-5 record ... Played for the West All-Star team in the 2012 Powerade State Games of North Carolina held at Gene Hooks Field, the home of Wake Forest baseball ... Made relief appearances on the mound in the first game and pinch hit in the second game ... Also played for his high school head coach Mike McCann in the State Games in 2011 as a junior ... Also played football as a prep where he was an All-Area selection as a lineman in 2010 and 2011.
