2009 (Junior): Led the Catamounts with a career-best, .420 batting average (102-for-243) ... Started all 57 games for WCU on the left side of the infield including 50 at shortstop and seven at third base ... Set a WCU single-season record with 102 base hits during the season the late Keith LeClair (1988) and Kevin Bellomo (1991) who each had 101 ... Became just the 10th player in SoCon history to eclipse 100 base hits in a season ... Named First Team All-Southern Conference at shortstop, his first all-conference accolade ... Was also named to the SoCon All-tournament team after hitting hit .455 (5-for-11) with a walk, a pair of doubles and three RBI ... Garnered third team All-American honors from Ping! Baseball ... Tied for the team lead with 22 doubles and 19 two-out RBI on the year, while ranking second with 52 RBI ... Hit a career-best eight home runs ... Finished the season with 32 multiple hit games, third on the team, and 13 multi-RBI performances ... Posted a season-long, 11-game hitting streak at the end of March in which he hit .490 (24-for-49) with seven multiple hit games with six extra base hits including five doubles and a home run ... Was a preseason second team All-SoCon selection at shortstop.
2008 (Sophomore): Played in 48 games, making 47 starts at shortstop ... Ranked third on the team with a career-best .352 batting average (68-for-193), including seven home runs to rank fourth on the squad ... Had a .539 slugging percentage ... Hit .400 on the season with runners in scoring position ... Posted 19 multiple-hit games including four, four-hit games and 11 multi-RBI outings, tied for second on the team and 13 doubles ... Enjoyed a team-best 18-game hitting streak from March 16 through April 8, hitting .514 (38-of-74) with eight doubles, a triple, three home runs and 24 RBI ... Crested .450 at .457 mid-season during his torrid streak ... However, after his streak, endured a 1-for-34 slump over his next nine games including an 0-for-31 stretch that dropped his batting average over 80 points ... Missed the final nine games of the year due to personal reasons.
2007 (Freshman): Saw extensive action as a freshman, playing in a total of 50 games and starting 48 of those at shortstop ... Finished the year with a .269 batting average in 171 plate appearances ... Had 13 doubles and 21 RBIs ... In the field, he amassed a .959 fielding percentage ... After the season, played with fellow Catamounts Jason Haynes and Daniel Ottone on the Fauquier Gators of the Valley League ... Batted .213 in 35 games, all of which he was the starter.
Prior to Western: Tabbed second team All-State, as well as first team All-District and All-Region as a senior ... Batted .405 with nine doubles, nine stolen bases, three home runs and 26 RBI ... Led Osbourn to a 22-2 record as well as district and regional championships ... Missed most of his junior season with a broken wrist, getting back for the end of the year as Osbourn reached the state championship, falling there 9-8 in 12 innings ... Was a first team All-District pick as a sophomore, batting .333 with five doubles.
