2009 (Junior): Played in 31 games making 19 starts including 15 behind the plate and four as the designated hitter ... Hit .205 on the year in limited at bats with five doubles and a home run ... Made his first career start as a Catamount on Feb. 21 against Bowling Green ... Recorded his first WCU base hit in the starting role in game two at No. 24 USC with an infield single to short in the second inning ... Belted his first Division I career home run in his hometown against College of Charleston (3/14), blasting a first pitch fast ball over the left-field wall in the sixth inning for a three-run shot ... Drove in a career-best four runs in game two of a twin bill at Wofford including three on a pair of doubles while also walking three times in the win ... Posted four multiple-hit games - all with two-hits apiece - with three multi-RBI games with a career-best hitting streak of three games.

Prior to Western: Transferred to Western for fall 2008 ... In two seasons with the Pioneers, hit .343 with 18 doubles and 21 home runs ... As a sophomore, batted .347 (59-of-170) with nine doubles and a team-leading 14 home runs with 44 RBI to rank second on his team at SMC...
