ASHEVILLE, N.C. - Western Carolina's Caleb Bailey has been named the Cross Country Runners of the Week for October 3.
Bailey finished second to at the Blue Ridge Open on September 28. His 8K time of 25:22 ties his personal best and is second in the league rankings. Bailey finished only one second behind Eric Van Ostrand from Eastern Kentucky and led all Southern Conference runners. He also received Runner of the Week honors on September 12.
In addition to Southern Conference honors, Bailey was named the Arby's/Catamount Student-Athlete of the Month for September.
