Men's and Women's Cross Country Place Sixth at SoCon Championships

Mara Smith named to the All-SoCon Second Team; Breaks her own school record in the 5K.

High School: Earned All-Conference distinction all four years at Northwest Cabarrus High School in Concord, N.C ... Earned a conference championship his sophomore year ... Captured a regional title and was state runner-up his senior year ... Holds the school record in the 800m, 1 mile, 4x4 relays and the 4x8 relays. Has personal best 1:55 in the 800m, 4:26 in the 1600m and 16:52 in the 5K.
