Western Carolina University hosted the WCU Invitational held on Aug. 31. Florida swept both the men's and women's races.

2011-12 (Freshman): Competed in all five of WCU's meets ... 9/2 - At the WCU Invitational, Reese ran a 12:36.29 (17) ... 9/16 - Finished 39th at the Mountaineer Open running a 19:52.5 ... 9/30 - Crossed the line in 25:06 (374) at the Paul Short Invitational ... 10/14 - At the Royal XC Challenge, ran an 18:48.24 (34) ... 10/29 - Finished the season by running an 18:24.60 - her fastest 5000m - to place 35th.

High School: North Carolina 2A state champion in the 3200m ... Holds Madison High School records in the 3200m, 1600m, 800m and 4x800m relay.
