Western Carolina University hosted the WCU Invitational held on Aug. 31. Florida swept both the men's and women's races.

North Carolina 4A State Champion in the 800-meter run during her senior season... Also won the North Carolina Mideast 4A Regional in the 800-meter run... Ran the 400-meter dash in a personal-best time of 56.2 and the 800-meter run in a personal-best time of 2:12.79.
