Hello fellow Catamount students and athletes!
It's about that time ... A week from today marks the first meet of the 2007 Indoor Track season. Danny Williamson and company will be making the trip to Appalachian State on next Saturday to compete.
Overview from pre-season until now:
So, basically, as a team, we've been working very hard in the off-season, as well as in the preseason and it definitely shows! Our team has become stronger and stronger as the many days of weights and intense practices have raced by. We're looking to reclaim the Indoor title as Champions this year as we came up short last season. When speaking with some of the returnees, they all said that they feel "faster and stronger" and that this team has the strength and talent to go "all the way"!
Next week will be a trial for all of us so, we'll see how things go in Boone, NC!
