The POWERade Championships is an International Association of Athletic Federations (IAAF) sanctioned track & field meet that provides opportunities for athletes, ages 20-24 to compete in an international championship event. The San Antonio Sports Foundation hosted the annual event this year to complement San Antonio's bid for the 2007 Pan American Games.
