Athens, Ga. - While the majority of the Georgia Invitational track and field meet was canceled due to inclement weather, the men's and women's invitational hammer throws were competed Saturday evening. Georgia senior Andras Haklits won the men's competition with a new Croatian, school, SEC and meet all-time best mark of 78.63 meters (257 feet, 11 inches), beating his previous personal-best by two feet and ten inches.
