Wake Forest Open Results
Winston-Salem, N.C. - The Western Carolina men's and women's outdoor track & field team competed in the Wake Forest Open in Winston-Salem, N.C., over the weekend.
Highlights for the women included top 12 runs by junior Raquel Ramseur in the 200 and 400-meter dash events, a seventh-place run by junior Kerrie Savery in the 800-meter and Brittany Whitaker winning her section of the women's high jump.
For the men, freshman Dominique Young edged sophomore teammate Manteo Mitchell in the 200-meter dash.
