Johnson City, Tenn. - Western Carolina junior Zeb Johnson qualified for Saturday's finals in both the 60-meter and 200-meter dash events, while women's classmate Raquel Ramseur and senior Asia Davis qualified in the 400-meter and 60-meter hurdle events highlighting the Catamounts opening day at hte NISWONGER Indoor Track & Field Invitational at the Memorial Center on the campus of East Tennessee State.

Also on Friday, junior Kerrie Savery posted a podium finish with a third-place run in the women's 800-meter run select with a time of 2:14.98, her best time this season. Joining Johnson in the men's 60-meter finals is Dominique Young.

Both WCU 4x400-meter relay teams made it into the finals on Saturday, with the men's squad posting the best preliminary time on Friday.
