WCU: Placed 2nd in the Heptathlon and Decatholon...Named All-Conference for the third time his junior season...Took third place in the decathalon at the Southern Conferece Championships and voted All-Conference in the decathalon his sophomore season.

High School: Senior year, voted MVP Field Events (All-Conference) with a 6'6" high jump and a 41'8" triple jump . . . His junior year, voted MVP Field Events (All-Conference and County) and Most Valuable Field Events his sophomore year. Coached by Gregg McFee. 2001-2002: Made a high jump of 6'2" and triple jump of 43'11".
