Highschool: A two-time state champion at North Henderson High School in the 400m and 4x400m relay ... as a senior, captured 1st place in the outdoor state 400 meters race with a time of 56.75... placed second in the 200 meter race with a time of 25.3 ... finished as runner-up in the 400m as a junior ... holds five North Henderson records including the 100m (12.6), 200m (25.7), 400m (56.75), the 4x400m relay and the 4x100m relay ... two-time Hendersonville Times Athlete of the Week ... also earned the Times News MVP ... other honors include the Triangle Stop Invitational MVP and the 2008 Appalachian Athletic Conference MVP.
