WCU: Placed third in the 800 meters at the 2003 SoCon Indoor Track Championships... Part of the 2001 women's cross country team which finished third in the SoCon that year... Named to the Academic All-SoCon winter team in 2003 (track and field) and the fall team in 2003 (cross country)... Was also an All-SoCon performer in track and field and in cross country since her freshman season.
High School: Finished third in the 800 meters at the outdoor track 3A state meet her junior and senior seasons... Was the 800 meters conference champion her senior year and was on the 4x400 and 4x800 meter relay teams that set school records during her tenure... Recorded personal-best times of 58 seconds in the 400 meters and 2:18 in the 800 meters as well as 18:55 in the 5K race... High school honors include Who's Who In High School Sports and being named her team's Most Valuable Player in her junior and senior years... Also received the Sportsmanship Award from her high school as a senior.
Personal: A sport management major... Daughter of Jeffery Edmonds... Grandmother is Margaret Edmonds and brother is Toby Hensley.
