WCU's cheer student-athletes helped with various service projects this year

Graduated from Western Carolina University in 2003 with a B.S. degree in Sport Management ... Was a Western Carolina cheerleader from 1998 through 2003, serving as a team captain from 2000-03, during which time he was also selected as a team MVP ... While at WCU, Wells participated with the squad at both UCA and NCA National competitions, helping the Cats earn 3rd in the Small CoEd Division at the 2001 NCA Competition.
