Ashley Crowe joined the Catamount Cheerleading coaching staff as an assistant during the summer of 2013. Crowe has over 10 years of dance experience, as well as over seven years as a cheerleader.

Originally from Sylva and a product of nearby Smoky Mountain High, Crowe graduated from Western Carolina in 2010 with a bachelors of science in clinical laboratory sciences. She cheered for three seasons at WCU, serving as a team captain during her senior year in 2009-10.

During her senior year, Crowe helped lead the Catamount cheerleaders at the National Cheerleading Association (NCA) national competition in Daytona Beach, Fla. WCU finished in seventh place in the small co-ed division.

A four-year cheerleader at Smoky Mountain High, then Ashley Morgan has assisted her high school alma mater cheer squad by organizing and aiding in summer cheer camp, choreographing competition routines and dances for the since her graduation from WCU in 2010. She was a part of the Mustang cheerleading squad which won the Cheersport Nationals in 2005. Crowe's coaching experience dates back to 2006-07 when she was a volunteer assistant at SMHS for a year.

Ashley was married to Joshua Nathan Crowe on Sept. 28, 2014.
