One-day tryout for 2013-14 squad to be held on campus
Shauna Sage graduated from Kalamazoo College in 2003 with a B.A. in Economics/Business. While at Kalamazoo College, she worked as a student in Athletic Media Relations and was a member of the Hornet Softball and Basketball teams. Shauna then went on to pursue her M.A. in Sports Administration at Western Michigan University, where she was a Graduate Assistant for Health, Physical Education, and Recreation. During that time, she also returned to Kalamazoo College as an Assistant Softball Coach, served as a facilities intern at Hope College, and managed the Special Olympics Michigan Area 16 Unified Sports program. Upon graduating in 2005, she moved to New Jersey where she served as the Assistant Director for Fitness Programs at Montclair State University.
In July 2006, Shauna made her way to Western Carolina University where she has served the Division of Student Affairs in roles that include the Assistant Fitness Center Director, Associate Director for Campus Recreation & Wellness and, her current role, Director of Campus Recreation & Wellness. During her time at WCU, she has also served as the advisor for the WCU Dance Team.
