Britt Amos, a 2006 graduate of Western Carolina University, returned to his alma mater in July 2013 as the media relations video coordinator. He is directly involved in creating and producing video content for the athletic department with duties including direct video content creation, live event broadcast production, production staff supervision and the development of media-based marketing plans.
Prior to Western Carolina, Amos worked in freelance television production and technical support from August 2008 until taking the position at Western Carolina. During that time, Amos worked as an on-site technical support technician for an interactive prime-time television reality show called "Escape Routes" as well as setup the live video uplink of MTV's O Music Awards live 24 hour stream of "The Flaming Lips" as they set a new Guinness World Record for most live shows in a 24-hour period. He also worked as a camera operator and graphics for broadcast and video streaming of football, college baseball and basketball. His clients included:ESPN3, WLOS/WMYA-TV My 40, Charter Sports Southeast, AET Channel 16, Western Carolina University, UNC Asheville, University of South Carolina, Clemson University and the Southern Conference.
