Final "In the Litterbox" of 2007 Airs Tonight on WWCU-FM, Power 90dot5 at 7:00 pm

Cullowhee, N.C. - The final installment of "In the Litterbox" for the 2007 semester airs tonight (Wednesday) at 7:00 pm on WWCU-FM, Power 90dot5 in Cullowhee. Basketball takes center stage with discussion of the Lady Catamounts' trip to Hawaii, as well as in studio interviews with the Catamounts' sophomore guard Brigham Waginger and freshman forward, Blake Gallagher.

Tonight's show will also recap the fall semester with topics ranging from Catamount football, Catamount women's soccer, Catamount volleyball, as well as basketball.

The Lady Catamounts return to the hardwood Friday night in tournament action in paradise as they face tournament host, Hawai'i at 12:00 am ET. WCU also has games against Oregon State and Tennessee Tech on their trek to the Islands. The Catamont men visit No. 13/14 Indiana on Saturday night at 8:00 pm ET, and visit Illinois on Monday night at 8:00 pm ET.

Although there will not be radio coverage of the women's three games in Hawai'i, the men's games will be broadcast by the Catamount Sports Network with air times of 7:45 pm both Saturday and Monday, each with an 8:00 pm tip-off. "ITL" is a weekly interactive sports talk show that highlights Western Carolina Catamount athletics. Each week includes recaps of WCU current events, as well as in-studio interviews with Catamount personalities. The show is co-hosted by WCU student, Josh Thompson, of Lincolnton, N.C., and Daniel Hooker, Assistant Athletics Director for Media Relations, and is produced by station student general manager, Kyle McCurry.

WWCU-FM, Power 90dot5 continues to serve as the Flagship Station of Catamount Athletics this season, broadcasting Catamount football, men's and women's basketball, and Catamount baseball and select softball games. WWCU has also been a partner with WCU Athletics in broadcasting the SoCon Women's Soccer Championship and NCAA tournament appearance.
