SAAC Spotlight Athlete of the Month is presented to the male or female Student-Athlete that has excelled in athletics, academics, leadership, and service in their community for the previous month. It is awarded to the athlete that does more than what they are asked on a daily bases and do all they can to improve the image of their team and catamount athletics. It is meant to bring recognition to an athlete for their off the field accomplishments more than their on the field accomplishments. An Athlete can be either in or out of season.
Hollifield is balancing the rigors of student teaching and pre-season basketball workouts and practice. She is making a tremendous impact on her student teaching kids by improved scores and learning and immersing herself in the school and community.
