CULLOWHEE, N.C. - Zaxby's in Sylva hosted its first Catamount Day on Wednesday to great success.
The restaurant hosted a ticket giveaway for Western Carolina football games and free food from Zaxby's. Western Carolina student Taylor Armstrong won a $100 gift card for being the 88th customer. Jim Rodgers Owner of Zaxby's was number 88 when he played football at WCU in 1995.
Catamount Days at Zaxby's serves as a kind of a pep rally for the up coming 2009 football, soccer, and volleyball seasons. From now on, every Tuesday will be Catamount Day at Zaxby's. Students, faculty and staff can receive a 25 percent discount by showing their cat card.
