July 13, 2006 - Raquel Ramseur named to the NCAA Division I Women's All-Academic Track & Field team by the USTFCCCA. The women's Track & Field team was named an All-Academic team by the USTFCCCA.

May 9, 2006 - Mendy McKenzie named WCU Pitcher of the Year; Jenny Jackson named WCU Player of the Year; Ashley Adams named WCU Hitter of the Year; Stephanie Beatty earned the Coaches' Award Winner; Heather Pritchard named Catamount Award Winner; and Lauren Ross was honored for the Play of the Year after recording the first hit and home run on the same swing in the season opener.

July 7, 2005 - Ashley Hovda qualifies for the 2005 United States Golf Association (USGA) Women's Amateur; Finished tied for 100th at the event on August 3.

 

July 20, 2005 - Brandy Andersen and Bianca Melone were both named to the NGCA Division I All-American Scholar team.
