WCU Baseball Rain Delay Policy:
If rain begins before the start of the game, the umpire can delay the game until the weather permits. The home team has the authority to cancel the game and make it up at a later date. Fans may then go ticket booth located at the front entrance of the stadium and pick up a rain delay voucher good for a future game of their choice. Fan must present current game day ticket they purchased to get the rain delay voucher.
If rain begins after the game has already started, five complete innings must be played to be considered a game. Any outing shorter has to be replayed at a later date. Again, fans may then go ticket booth located at the front entrance of the stadium and pick up a rain delay voucher good for a future game of their choice. Fan must present current game day ticket they purchased to get the rain delay voucher.
If lightning may occur, the stadium must be evacuated. Play may not resume until 30 minutes after the last lightning strike. Same rules apply for the rain delay voucher.
